25 Days of Dupes – Day 10

Day 10 is Winter Miracle, a sheening and shimmer ink. Of the inks I swabbed, Pansy is the best color dupe, and has a decent amount of sheen in the same color, as well.

The photo below is provided to showcase the sheen.

The large brush swab and horizontal writing sample in the center is the Inkvent ink. Below the Inkvent swab, I’ve swabbed each Dupe ink twice: heavily (to show shading) on the left, and lightly (no shading) on the right. Above the Inkvent ink writing, I’ve written with the dupe ink.

All swabs were created with a small paintbrush, and all writing was with a Zebra G dip nib.

I want to remind you that I can’t guarantee that the color you see on your screen will be true to life. However, I’ve put all the dupes on the same page, and scanned/photographed them together. So any differences in color will show equally across all of the inks. You’ll see how the colors look in relation to each other, which is the main point of these posts.

  1. Where do I find the “read more” where I can see the photos with the sheening? I keep seeing this on your posts, but can’t find the link!

    1. Hi Kathy,

The “Read more” refers to the main blog page or the archive page that has all of the posts. On those pages, the posts cut off after the first image. If you can see the second image (which is the image showing the sheen) then you’re already on the dedicated blog page. πŸ™‚ Thanks for pointing out the confusion. I’ll update the posts to make them more clear.
