I wracked my brain for a while trying to figure out what to request for a Stanford Pen Studio<\/a> pen painted by artist Hanna Farmer<\/a>. That I wanted one, there was never any doubt. The intricate work she does is as amazing as it is beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I finally decided on requesting a Pride & Prejudice themed pen, I couldn’t have dreamed of such a beautiful result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who aren’t familiar with Stanford Pen Studio’s commission system, let me give you a quick overview. Prospective customers can submit any request they like, for any artist. However, it is always the artist’s choice as to whether they take the commission. So, when I say “requesting,” that’s what I mean. There’s never any guarantee that a request will be accepted. To me, that makes each pen all the more special because I know<\/em> that the artist enjoyed working on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The certificate of authenticity for this pen simply titled it “Inspired by Pride and Prejudice.” But, this glorious work of art deserves a proper name. To me, one of the most iconic lines in the book is “You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” This is adapted in the 2005 movie to “I love you, most ardently.” See where I’m going here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, back to the pen porn, where you must allow me to explain to you how I love this pen, most ardently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to record a proper<\/em> YouTube video for this pen, rather than the typical shorts I do. There’s so much to point out, I just couldn’t do it in a 1-minute video.
