Review<\/h2>\n

I enjoyed\u00a0Pulse<\/em>. As far as vampire books go, I think it managed some originality with the Life’s Blood concept. It’s not a plot line I’ve seen before.<\/p>\n

My only real gripe with\u00a0Pulse<\/em> is that I got a strong Twilight vibe with the push toward chastity, some vampires wanting to be “good”, and not drinking from humans, despite remaining unsatisfied drinking from other blood sources.<\/p>\n

I was happy to not find any errors as I read. I look forward to reading more of the Pulse series when I have some time. I definitely want to know what happens next.<\/p>\n

I’m interested in seeing what a reverse harem storyline is like in a YA series, as I doubt it will be getting very steamy. I’m assuming that Kalina will end up with all three Greystone brothers, and therefore won’t need to choose between them. Of course, that makes me wonder if she’ll be able to choose to give them all Life’s Blood. Or maybe she’ll become a vampire herself?<\/p>\n
