NOTE: This review is based on an eBook I borrowed from Amazon as part of the Kindle Unlimited program.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I enjoyed Abandoned<\/em>. The story was nice with minimal angst. Everyone who deserved one got a happy ending. And it was a nice change to have a story with both Darcy parents still alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike many of Shana Granderson\u2019s works, there were minimal errors, and I didn\u2019t catch any continuity errors at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only thing I disliked was how religious Abandoned<\/em> was. It has SO MANY references to God\u2019s plan, God\u2019s will, God\u2019s goodness, etc. It\u2019s one thing to have a highly pious character who has a specific story-based reason to constantly reference God. It\u2019s another to turn a work into religious fiction, and this was really toeing that line. 99% of the religious references in Abandoned<\/em> could be removed without affecting the story in any way. Overall, though, a good read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
