After the deaths of their parents and the public disgrace of their youngest sister, the Bennet ladies are alone in the world. It falls upon Elizabeth to navigate their way, a nearly impossible task given their meager funds. When she becomes reacquainted with Mr. Darcy, she hopes she has found her salvation. But it is ruin he offers her.<\/p>\n

This book contains dark themes and scenes of a sensual nature. Reader discretion is advised.<\/p>\n

Review<\/h3>\n

The Ruin of Elizabeth Bennet<\/em> (TRoEB<\/em>) was unlike any other\u00a0Pride and Prejudice<\/em> rewrite, in a good way. The description caught my eye when it popped up after I’d finished a different book, and, since it is available on Kindle Unlimited, I saw no reason not to give it a try.<\/p>\n

I quickly found myself immersed in a completely new, yet still wonderful, version of Pride and Prejudice<\/em>. I read through it quickly, hardly wanting to put it down.<\/p>\n

The relationships seem realistic and true to Jane Austen’s original characters. I’m a little saddened by Mr. Bingley’s uncertain fate, but Colonel Fitzwilliam’s more than makes up for it.<\/p>\n

My only “complaint” is that I noticed a handful of errors, but not enough to knock off a star.<\/p>\n

I highly recommend\u00a0TRoEB<\/em> whether or not you have Kindle Unlimited. It’s a great story, and you’re sure to enjoy it.<\/p>\n
