If you’ve been here a while, you know I’m not a fan of the Franklin-Christoph<\/a> models that have threads at the nib end of the section \u2014 like this Model 46. But, look at how pretty the Stars on Sapphire Lakes<\/a> is! It’s well worth it, in my opinion, to try to get used to a different grip to be able to use this pen comfortably. Plus, it’s great supporting my pen friend, Azizah, of Gourmet Pens<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s start with the most obvious wow, the colors. The turquoise and purple is fabulous together, one of my favorite color combos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the glitter is just, *chef’s kiss*. I have a slow roll video on Instagram<\/a> showing it off. But, so you can appreciate it here, I’ve taken some photos with varying amounts of focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much less obvious, but a fantastic tough, is the Gourmet Pens logo on the cap. Beyond just a good branding element, it’s also a nice sensory touch. I can be fun to fidget with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I’m not super familiar with Franklin-Christoph pens, I don’t know if the finials are typical of their pens. I like the solid “caps” at either end. They provide some contrast without using separate materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
