Once again, it’s time to revisit my wish list<\/a>. I’ve bought some pens, decided against others, and found new pens I want. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve kept the two-tier list structure: “Tier One” that I’m actively looking to acquire, and “Tier Two” that I’d pick up if there’s a good deal, or if the stars align perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Updates to last year’s list first. If you don’t care about updates, feel free to jump down to my current list<\/a>. For those pens still on my list, I’ll share more about them on my current list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18111 Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t get to these. And, unfortunately, Mr. Nakama seems to be making less pens recently. I need to get the two I still want before I can’t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atelier Lusso<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t manage to snag an abalone pen last year. Maybe this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I picked up several Talismans \u2014 the Wild Rose<\/a>, Shooting Star<\/a>, Four Leaf Clover<\/a>, and the Ice and Snow \u2014 but didn’t get the Ambrosia series pens. They’ve now fallen to tier 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cypress<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Well, I did get a raden & eggshell pen<\/a>, just not the one I’d planned on. I can see myself getting something like the one I originally wanted, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flower Girl Blanks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Rather than getting a pen made from a Flower Girl Blanks material, I’ve commissioned a very<\/em> special pen from Analog Notes. I’ll share it as soon as it’s done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gravitas Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I couldn’t get one of the first rainbow glitter pens given Athena’s treatment costs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hardy Penwrights<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I’ve gone almost two years without getting around to researching my idea of a Dutch pen. I think that says a lot. While I’m not completely writing it off, I’m shelving the idea for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hooligan Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t get to this one \u2014 a winter-themed pen \u2014 either. I did<\/em> get the winter-themed Benu, so maybe I can get a custom housing for it. No slight to Mr. Cullen, this slot was about a winter-themed pen for my PenBBS snowflake nib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iron Feather Creative<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I got another two of Brian’s pens last year \u2014 that’s 5 now. And, work has started on my Mayan pen \u2014 yay!! \u2014 so I suppose that means it’s no longer on my wish list. I can’t wait until it’s in my hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loft Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t get to the stacked pen commission. Perhaps this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilot<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I’m on the fence about getting any more Custom 74s. I love the nibs, but I already have 3. In regards to the Falcon, I want to sell the customized one<\/a> and get the brown, metal-bodied one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rockster Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Another pen I didn’t get to last year. I’ll likely need to commission a pen to get a perfect material mix that I’ll be happy to own for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanford Wood Studio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I certainly crossed this one off my list, didn’t I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamenuri Studio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

While the stars didn’t align last year, if Michal posts a pen I really like when I have money available, I’ll likely buy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that’s my update on last year’s list. Now for my current wish list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time I see one of Eric’s abalone pens<\/a>, I want one more. So I’m going to try to snag one this year.

I’ve been eyeing Troy’s 3D engraved sleeve pen<\/a>, but I’d prefer a different color base. I want to commission one, but I keep not having the money. I’m going to actively save for it this year.

Gravitas Pens<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ben has said there will be another release of the black, rainbow sparkle finish pens \u2014 I think he’s calling it “Universe” \u2014 in January. Thanks to some saved Christmas money from my cousin, I should be able to get one from that release.

When Gourmet Pens (Azizah) shared her cool “ribbon” pen<\/a>, I went straight over to Nicholas’ page. I’d really like one of these. It’s very interesting.

Benu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I still think the Ambrosia collection \u2014 specifically the Persian Shield<\/a> and Blue Lotus<\/a> \u2014 is really pretty. But, I’m not positive it can compete with the hand-painted pens, and I don’t want to buy something that I’ll likely sell later.
