While I’ve meant to, I’ve never actually written a post about my Goodreads Reading Challenge activity. I’ve actively taken part in the challenge every year since 2018. Generally, I’ve been conservative with my goal. In 2022, I went fairly easy on myself, setting a goal of only 36 books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I haven’t looked back at my reading in previous years \u2014 on my blog, at least \u2014 I want to provide a brief overview of the previous years’ challenges, too. After all, while I know many of my readers are here for the fountain pen posts, 32% of my blog content is related to books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2022 Reading Challenge Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Goodreads provides a neat overview of your reading for each challenge, which they title “My Year in Books<\/a>.” While it has some nice insights, I like to look back on my reading patterns throughout the year. I tend to read a lot<\/em> then go a while without reading, before voraciously devouring books again. You can see that in the graph below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
