I stumbled upon the Ice and Snow on Instagram<\/a>. Although I thought I had finished with pen purchases for 2022, I had to have it. Between my love of winter and collecting the Talisman series pens that have shaped confetti \u2014 like the Wild Rose<\/a>, Shooting Star<\/a>, and Four Leaf Clover<\/a> \u2014 there was no way I wasn’t going to pick one up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with other Talisman model pens, the Ice and Snow has its inspiration added to the material of the pen. This time, it’s Snow Quartz. According to the pamphlet that came with it, “snow quartz has an uplifting and kind energy and is typically used during challenging moments in life, when everything seems dark and grim.”<\/p>\n\n\n

Before I really get into the pen porn, I have to say I’m disappointed that, even though this is a limited edition of only 300, the pens aren’t numbered. That information also is not on the pamphlet that comes with the pen, so it will be easy to forget that it’s a limited edition \u2014 versus a special edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The combo of slightly iridescent turquoise and sparkling white is fabulous and brings to mind everything from pools of water on a glacier to Elsa’s dress from Frozen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turquoise material proved virtually impossible to photograph. I edited the below two photos to try to show the iridescence but didn’t have much luck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I adore the mix of glitter. There are multiple sizes of hexagons in translucent silver\/holographic material and blue\/white material. There are also small stars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
