I don’t know where February went. How are we already in March? This year is racing by. But, new month means new pen perchases overview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Nahvalur x Enigma Stationery Nautilus Brilliant Bunny<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I had my eyes on the Lunar New Year Nautilus<\/a>, but I made myself wait for February since I’d already bought 4 pens in January<\/a>. This turned out to be fortuitous, as I happend across an Enigma Stationery Instagram post showing their exclusive Lunar New Year collaboration pen<\/a>. The red with blue sparkles was much more interesting to me, and I snagged it on February 1st. There will be a pen porn post for this one next Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esterbrook JR Beleza<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been watching the JR series for a while. I almost<\/em> bought the Fantasia, but I was waiting for one that really spoke to me. Also, because Esterbrook’s marketing photos aren’t always true-to-life, I make sure to see their pens in person before purchasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they announced the Beleza, I was fairly certain it, finally, was the one I’d get. Bert, of Bertram’s Inkwell<\/a>, was kind enough to order a couple so I could see them. The photos for the Beleza turned out to be pretty true-to-life, so I picked one up. The other plus of seeing them in person? I was able to pick the one that was most swirled, which I look for in these kinds of materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wile I didn’t succeed in keeping a February pen slot free for March \u2014 BWIPS \u2014 I am still on track with no more than 3 pens per month. I have a plan for BWIPS, but I have to avoid impulse purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
