I first discovered the Shooting Star through an Instagram Post from Luxury Brands of America. While I’m supposed to be on a fountain pen low buy, I just had to get one. I’m planning to collect the Talisman series pens that have shaped confetti — like the Wild Rose — since I’m no longer buying TWSBI pens.

I honestly can’t say what I like best about the Shooting Star. To start, it has meteorite dust in the material. While I can’t “show” you that, it’s pretty cool.

The amount of shimmer in the royal blue center areas and section is captivating.

The star shaped confetti/glitter simply makes me smile. And I love the distribution on mine.

The glow-in-the-dark ends — while not something I’ll likely see often — are very cool. And I appreciate that the “glow” is the same color as the actual material.

The Shooting Star came with a leaflet, standard Benu box and a sticker and pin in support of Ukraine.

As of writing, the Shooting Star is still available at Goldspot, and I highly suggest getting one. Unless you dislike blue or sparkly pens, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Thank you for reading until the end. Do you own a Shooting Star? Do you want one? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

    Hi Rachel,
If you ever decide to sell your Benu Shooting Star FP, I would LOVE to buy it from you!

It was one of my favorites, but my SIL saw it and fell in love with it as well. She is fighting cancer and would do anything to make her happy, so I gave it to her. I missed it so I decided to get another for myself, but they are apparently long gone!

So…if you ever decide to part with yours, please let me buy it from you!
