If you’ve been here a while, you know I’m not a fan of the Franklin-Christoph models that have threads at the nib end of the section — like this Model 46. But, look at how pretty the Stars on Sapphire Lakes is! It’s well worth it, in my opinion, to try to get used to a different grip to be able to use this pen comfortably. Plus, it’s great supporting my pen friend, Azizah, of Gourmet Pens.
Side note, they’re sold out right now, but more will be coming in the future. Keep an eye on Gourmet Pens Shop.
Let’s start with the most obvious wow, the colors. The turquoise and purple is fabulous together, one of my favorite color combos.
And the glitter is just, *chef’s kiss*. I have a slow roll video on Instagram showing it off. But, so you can appreciate it here, I’ve taken some photos with varying amounts of focus.
Much less obvious, but a fantastic tough, is the Gourmet Pens logo on the cap. Beyond just a good branding element, it’s also a nice sensory touch. I can be fun to fidget with.
As I’m not super familiar with Franklin-Christoph pens, I don’t know if the finials are typical of their pens. I like the solid “caps” at either end. They provide some contrast without using separate materials.
Points to Azizah for another beautiful collab pen!
