NOTE: This post closes out my 2025 end-of-year and 2026 start-of-year series, and I’m looking forward to a break. I will likely post once a week at most through the end of February.
To start, allow me to review last year’s wish list — you can also check out my earlier wish lists: 2024 | 2023 | 2022 | 2021.
I received my commission from Stanford Pen Studio — pen porn post coming soon — and my two Intwana models — Chameleon and Seahorse. I also got my Tailored Pen Co. commission. And, as you almost certainly know, I finally got a Drewnem Pisane pen.
I don’t have a real wish list this year, surprisingly, but I do have some general interests that I might make an effort to get. As a reminder, I organize this list alphabetically by pen company.
Commissioned
Drewnem Pisane
I have a not-quite-commission in the works with Kamila and Marcin. As they have time, they’re testing whether one of their “braided” wood blanks can handle being turned into their swirl model. If it can, I can buy it. If it can’t, I’ll get a standard “braided” wood pen.

Mayfair Pens
At the DC Pen Show last year, I commissioned a Royal Eowyn in a granite-like material I’d purchased. Ben expects to have it ready for me at the BWIPS this year.

Interested in
As I mentioned previously, my wish list this year is more of an “interested in” list. I don’t know that I’ll go out of my way to buy any of these pens, but if the stars align, I’ll probably pick one or more up.
Benu
While I don’t care for Benu’s ridiculous release schedule, I do lust after their painted pens. The ones I like best are the Tribute Bennu, Tribute Witches’ Brew, Talisman Stone of Heaven, Euphoria London set, and Euphoria Paris set.

Cypress
I’m still interested in the Maple in the Forest. I also like their Mosaic Raden series; and I’ve wanted an Aka Tamenuri pen for ages and Cypress makes a nice one.

Stanford Pen Studio
My ultimate goal is to have a pen from each of Stanford Pen Studio’s partner artists. I don’t have any pens that feature Zelna le Roux’s or Renee Gerstner’s art. I also don’t have Jabulani models from Brandon Lodewyk, Lisa Strachan, or Carla Nel.

So… yeah… that’s my current “wish list,” such as it is. I’m happy I don’t have a long list, because that may help me stick to my 30 pens or less goal.
Are any of these pens on your wish list? Are there any interesting pens or makers that you think I should know about? Let me know in the comments.
Make sure to subscribe to my blog or follow me on Instagram so you don’t miss any posts. I generally post at least once a week.
